The façade remediation of Keppel Wharf focuses on removing combustible materials and installing non-combustible systems to improve fire safety and meet current regulations.
Works include the replacement of balcony soffits, fascias, and party wall panels with an A1-rated Valcan Vitradual fascia system and Rockwool Duo Slab insulation, alongside the installation of horizontal and vertical Siderise fire barriers. Existing plastic ductwork and rainwater pipes will be upgraded to non-combustible alternatives with appropriate fire protection.
Further remediation on the gable elevations and main entrance fins will enhance compartmentation and fire resistance, ensuring the building meets the highest safety standards.
