This project, led by our client BlackRock and Workman LLP involves the partial remediation of the buildings façade, including the complete removal of existing combustible render system and replacement with a non-combustible render cavity system, incorporating new fire barriers.

Works will include removal of the existing metal rainscreen and a review of the junction details to  ensure the vertical and horizontal fire compartment is maintained where this is directly adjacent to areas of rendered façade.

In window locations where there are grey metal rainscreen panels within the rendered façade, these panels are to be temporarily removed to enable removal of existing PIR insulation and replaced with Rockwool insulation ensuring the horizontal fire stops are located at the correct location with replacement where required.
